WITCHY WEDNESDAY: Roses

Roses are a beautiful flowers that come in a huge variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. They can be found throughout the world, and there are species that are native on several continents. They are often associated with romance and are often exchanged on Valentine’s Day.

Medicinally, roses can be used as a mild sedative, anti-microbial, laxative, and antiseptic.

Magically, roses can be used for love, protection, divination, lust, good fortune, and healing.

Like jasmine, roses are a delicate flower with a fragile fragrance and flavor. If you are going to make an essential oil or tea from rose petals, you must not use a high temperature or else the scent and flavor will become bitter. So, you must use a low temperature over a longer period of time with roses.
