Witchtip Tuesday: Karma Repost
After a few of the things I have had happen over the last
couple of weeks, I think it might be a good time to repost this. I’ve seen a
lot of evidence to support the idea that the energy you put out comes back to
you in a magnified form after several recent events. I know it’s tough
sometimes but try to keep the negativity under control, so it doesn’t poison
your environment. I hope you enjoy this repost and blessed be.
WITCH TIP TUESDAY!
Always be aware of your “Karma.”
When you perform magic of any kind there is always a price.
This is true for all aspects of life, but for now we will only focus on the
magical implications. Whatever you put out in a spell, you get back a minimum
of three times and as many as ten. A lot of people refer to this as karma and
for the sake of keeping this post fairly short, so shall we.
It always amazes me how many people seem to think they can
escape karma, especially in magic. You can’t. Even if you stop practicing
magic, you will still have to pay for what you’ve done. Dabblers and seasoned
practitioners must abide by this law without exception. What you get back
depends on what you’ve put out. If you’ve done something nice like a healing
spell, then you’ll get back that healing energy you’ve put out a minimum of
three times. If you hex someone, you get that energy back a minimum of three
times. It kind of makes you think twice about hexing someone doesn’t it?
There’s no time limit on when that energy will come back to you and it can be
carried from life to life, but if you’re very lucky you won’t get all of that
energy all at once. So, do not think you’re safe if it’s been a few years since
you hexed your ex, and nothing has happened yet. It will come to you; you just
won’t know when. Karma likes to surprise us. My personal experience with karma
is that the good things come back a little at a time, and the bad things come
back all at once. This seems to be true of a lot of people I know, though your
experience may be different.
It is important to understand what type of karma you’re
creating with a spell before you cast it. One easy way to determine that Karma
is to ask yourself how you would feel if someone cast it on you. Would you ask
someone to cast this spell on you, and if not, why not? It’s a good rule not to
use magic on people without their knowledge or permission as well.
It may also surprise you to learn what spells generate bad
karma. I don’t know how many times I’ve had to explain to a novice that love
spells that focus on a preferred individual are considered dark magic.
Seriously, would you want someone to take away your freewill and force you to
fall in love with them? Would you want someone to cast a spell that would break
up your happy marriage? I doubt that you would, so why on earth would you think
it was ok to do it to someone else? It makes no sense to me whatsoever. Make
sure you know what kind of spell you’re casting before you cast it.
Retaliation magic can also be bad for your Karma. Just
because Suzy Lou cast a hex on you, doesn’t mean you should hex her back. It’s
rather childish to put it bluntly. Besides, most people aren’t worth the karma
that comes with a hex, jinx, or curse. Instead use protection spells to protect
yourself from that person. If you don’t want to deal with the energy at all,
try a return to sender or mirror spell to send that energy back to the person
who sent it. In the worst cases you can use a binding spell to prevent harm but
try to use it as a last resort. Binding spells are tricky and can cause a lot
of harm if done incorrectly.
You cannot reduce the amount of bad karma you already have
by creating good karma. It would be nice if you could, but you can’t. If you
think you’re coming out with a clean slate by spouting inspirational messages
about kindness or donating to charity while psychically attacking someone,
you’re going to be extremely disappointed. The karma from both actions stays
with you until you receive what you gave with interest. Sorry to burst any
bubbles, but it’s better if you know this now.
I don’t know if I got through anyone’s thick skull with this
post, but I can hope that I did. Be careful what you do and be sure you’re
willing to pay for it before you do it. Some things just aren’t worth it in the
end. Stay safe, my pretties! Blessed be!
